Toads are believed to attract wealth and ward off evil spirits, and can be categorized into two types: those that spit out money and those that attract wealth.
1. Spits out coins (with a coin biting in its mouth): In feng shui placement, its head should ideally face inwards to attract wealth.
2. Attracting Wealth (without biting a coin in its mouth): In feng shui placement, the head should face outwards to help the homeowner attract wealth from all directions into the house.
Important Notes ⚠
The toad should not be placed too low, as this is believed to attract wealth. However, if there are deities worshipped in the home, the toad should not be placed higher than the deities, nor should it be placed directly facing them, to avoid any clashes. Offerings of clean water and fruit are sufficient on the first and fifteenth days of each lunar month.
